The green lady in the sky

Is truly a magical phenomenon. If you don’t know what I mean I’m talking about the #AuroraBorealis aka the #NorthernLights. Apparently Senja, Norway has the best display of the lights in the world so we had high hopes of seeing it. However, it had been raining all day and we all thought we wouldn’t be enjoying nature’s light show. We were wrong. Around 6 PM (18:00) the clouds started to clear and the rain stopped. Then it happened around 7:30 PM on Saturday (10/13) the lights started to appear. Very gradually but long streams of light green formed. The streams spread from east to west and growing quickly! Then directly overhead we saw the twirling of green streams that really looked as if they were dancing. It was stunning and quick. Man we were lucky to catch all that! With our new camera we set it to “auto” and snapped a few pics, which by the way is not easy to do. I think we figured it out though. Whacha think?
